06-The water in Mars 2

With a small telescope, a 114 mm reflector newton for example, you can see the water on Mars. Every two years, the neighboring planet is approaching us and we can see it better.

As noted above, at the poles of Mars is water, as ice, much like the poles of the Earth. Latest NASA expeditions are focusing precisely on the poles to find out more frost structures of Mars.
So if you ever have the opportunity to see Mars through a telescope, set well at the poles and see how ice white highlights on the rest of the planet that is reddish.
In the photographs of the various space probes sent to Mars in recent years, as the ESA Mars Express, you can see the poles at a high resolution. Robots on the surface as Spirit, Opportunity, Phoenix and newcomer in August 2012 Curiosity, are also providing much information about the present and the past of Mars
